Japan Exquisite, is composed by a small team of Art & Antiques specialist, located in Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. Its Projects's Leader, Christophe, originates from Belgium with 25 years of experience in Japanese Culture and Products – see About Chapter.

Japan Exquisite will only focus on dealing with rare and original items.

The preservation of the Japanese Art & Handcraft heritage is a key criterion of the project.

The artisans who can produce these items respecting the original tradition, know-how, and quality are simply decreasing each year. During this time, low-cost mass production inspired by Japanese designs has progressively taken over the market.

We just do not want it to disappear and hope that a portion of the viewers will understand that genuine Japanese handmade items are not produced for the price of 2 or 3 Big Macs, even when Japanese Yen is weak.

At the launch phase, we are intentionally including some very affordable items, allowing everyone to own one rare piece.

JapanExquisite, as the title describes it, would progressively be moving to even more rare and exclusive items…

On the same time, work is under progress to allow useful posts and information exchange for the visitors of the site.

Those items are either unique or very limited, not mass-produced.

2. Receive immediately your confirmation by e-mail

3. Receive track number of the parcel by email (usually within 1-3 days)

4. Wait for your item to be delivered at the registered address

For smaller items, shipping cost is usually included in the selling price, unless non-listed country of destination or stated in the item description.

We are NOT responsible for the payment of the import fee. This amount really varies depending on the country/state.
